What You Will Learn:

During this immersive 90-day internship, you will gain the clinical skills and foundational knowledge needed to begin a career in medical aesthetics. Training includes hands-on exposure to cosmetic injectables such as neuromodulators (Botox®), dermal fillers, biostimulators, and PDO threads, along with instruction in aesthetic consultations, facial assessment, and treatment planning. You will also work with advanced aesthetic technologies, including IPL, LED therapy, ablative and non-ablative lasers, RF microneedling, medical microneedling, Hydrafacial MD, and medical-grade chemical peels, using industry-leading platforms such as Cynosure ICON, Celluma, SmartXide Tetra CO₂, Aerolase Nd:YAG, Clear + Brilliant, Morpheus8, Exceed MicroPen, and VI Peel and PCA Skin systems. The program also introduces core concepts of aesthetic practice operations, providing insight into how clinical care and business function together in a real-world medical aesthetics setting.

About The Opportunity:

This 90-day internship provides a minimum of 24 hours per week of hands-on clinical experience at Paradise Medspa. Participants must be pre-certified in cosmetic injectables; laser certification is encouraged but not required. Interns will shadow and assist a multidisciplinary team, gaining experience in treatment preparation, clinical documentation, patient education, photography, inventory management, EMR use, and compliance workflows. Additional exposure to bio-identical hormone therapy and medical weight-loss treatments may be available upon request.

At Completion:

Upon completion of the internship, participants may elect to add up to four hours of hands-on cosmetic injectable training. Interns are responsible for providing models, and injectable products may be purchased through our office at wholesale pricing. Additional hands-on training opportunities may be available upon request.
